Mega Man: Fully Charged
Reel Breakdown:
As the rigging lead on Mega Man: Fully Charged, I had the great opportunity to take on many responsibilities where I:
- Rigged hero characters, including Mega Man, Mega Mini, Sgt. Night, and Rush.
- Developed a new rigging tool for the team that built cartoon eyelids and brows, allowing our rigs to achieve expressive shapes required for our show's animation style
- Developed the quadruped rig for our team - used by Rush and generic dogs.
- Wrote scripts for other riggers on the team to help expedite their workflow. These included scripts for building the robot master legs, a motion path rig, uv/material transferring, and post rig scaling,
- Attended meetings with the production team and department supervisors to make creative decisions on assets.
- Met with production coordinators to bid time estimates needed to rig assets
- Reviewed rigs from other riggers on the team for department approval and provided feedback if adjustments were needed
- Supported other members on the rigging team when help was needed and mentored new hires on production workflow
- Frequently collaborated with the modeling and animation departments to discuss what was needed to meet production needs
- Supported the effects departments in building VFX rigs
- Collaborated with the rigging supervisor to improve our studio's rigging system
- Built rigs for sets and props
- Debugged technical issues with rigs and pipeline errors
